PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which prevention of reduction of power generation performance of a solid oxide fuel cell is possible even when operation is resumed after emergency shut-down by preventing change of a crystal structure of air electrode layer at the time of emergency shut-down.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell 5, in which power generation reaction occurs when a fuel gas is supplied to a fuel electrode layer and air is supplied to the air electrode layer, fuel gas supply lines 24a, 24b that supply the hydrocarbon gas supplied from the hydrocarbon gas blower 9 to the fuel electrode layer via a reformer 6, and an oxidizer gas supply line 27 that supplies the air supplied from an air blower 11 to the air electrode layer are equipped. An emergency shut-down oxidizer gas supply means 12 is installed in the oxidizer gas supply line 27 in which the air can be supplied to the air electrode layer without requiring an electric power at a time when the hydrocarbon gas blower 9 and the air blower 11 are shut-down for emergency. |
