<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the optimum control gain to a rolling mill after taking the dispersion of property of a rolled material into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of determining the control gain in the rolling mill, when performing gauge control to the rolling mill 1 for rolling the rolled material W by using British Iron and Steel Research Association AGC and monitor AGC, the variation of the plastic coefficient Q of the rolled material W is given in the form of probability density function f(Q) and the control gain K<SB>B</SB>of the British Iron and Steel Research Association AGC and the control gain K<SB>M</SB>of the monitor AGC are determined by using the optimum design method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
