<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire whose durability performance is improved by preventing separation in an outer end part in the width direction of a belt reinforcing layer and preventing decrease in fatigue resistance in the side cord of the belt reinforcing layer during load rolling of the tire without decreasing mileage. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a cushion rubber 10 disposed in the inside in the radial direction of the tire of an outer end part 3a in the width direction of a wide belt layer 3 and in the outside in the width direction of an outer end part 2a in the width direction of a belt reinforcing layer 2. The cushion rubber 10 includes two or more types of rubber members 10a, 10b having different elastic moduli from each other. In the cushion rubber 10, at least a rubber member 10a in a contact area with the outer end part 2a in the width direction of the belt reinforcing layer 2 is formed of a high hardness rubber member having a larger elastic modulus than any rubber member 10b constituting the rest of the cushion rubber.
