<p>PURPOSE: An adhesive is provided to have excellent cohesive force and excellent stress releasing performance, thereby capable of providing an adhesive sheet with excellent light leak resistance and durability when applied to an optical element such as a polarizer. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive contains crosslinked components of (meth)acrylic acid ester polymers, has an elongation at rupture of 1500% or more by a tensile test, and has a gel fraction of 30-90%. The crosslinked components of the (meth)acrylic acid ester polymers consist of a first (meth)acrylic ester polymer of which weight average molecular weight is 500,000-3,000,000, and a second (meth)acrylic ester polymer of which weight average molecular weight is 8,000-300,000. An adhesive sheet(1A) comprises a substrate(13) and an adhesive layer(11). The adhesive layer consists of the adhesive.</p> |
