<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a polyoxyalkylene glycol commercially by the ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether. <P>SOLUTION: A polyoxyalkylene glycol is manufactured by a ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether, wherein the ring-opening polymerization is performed in the presence of a catalyst comprising a carbon carrier with a specific surface area of 50-1,000 m<SP>2</SP>/g and heteropolyacid supported thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
