The present invention relates to a method for fabricating a connector for electrical connection, and the connector for electrical connection, and more specifically, to a connector for electrical connection which is disposed between a terminal of a device to be tested and a pad of a testing device to electrically connect the terminal and the pad. The method for fabricating the connector for electrical connection, which comprises a film where a plurality of electrodes are disposed to be in contact with the terminal and a plurality of protrusions on a surface of each of the electrodes, comprises the following steps: (a) forming a first copper foil layer on the top surface of the film made of an insulating material, and forming a second copper foil layer on the bottom surface of the film; (b) forming grooves, on the first copper foil layer and the film, to prepare an arrangement pattern of the protrusions to be made; (c) forming a first metal plating layer on surfaces of the grooves, and the first and second copper foil layers; (d) forming a resist layer having an opening at every position of an electrode to be manufactured, on the surfaces of the first and second copper foil layers; (e) forming a second metal plating layer made of a metallic material inside the opening, which is not removed by etching; and (f) removing, by etching, a portion where the second metal plating layer is not formed after removing the resist layer. |
