The present invention relates to a method for mapping a page address based on flash memory and a system therefor, and more specifically to a method for improving the performance of the system booting by reducing the size of the mapping information and the size of the page mapping table by using the sequential logical address and the size of the data information so as to reduce the number of reading calculations, and to a system therefor. A method for mapping a page address based on a flash memory according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a read command from the file system; searching the FTL mapping table for the starting logical address which corresponds with or is smaller than and closest to the logical address demanded by the read command; calculating the physical address corresponding with the read command by means of the starting logical address and the logical address demanded by the read command; and reading the data stored in the calculated physical address of the flash memory. |
