<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in which an image of a high image quality can be formed using processed image data compensated for the variability of discharging amounts. <P>SOLUTION: In order to compensate for the variability of the discharging amounts of liquid droplets discharged from a plurality of nozzles, a control unit of a PC carries out a specific process (S33) to a target pixel in image data of an object using correction data for a target nozzle which forms a dot at a position on a print medium corresponding to the target pixel. The correction data is data obtained using characteristic data corresponding to the target nozzle and detection results of temperatures of a printing head.
