<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a permanent magnet motor equipped with a rotor core, and a rotor core having a motor characteristics more than equivalent to the permanent magnet motor equipped with a rotor core using an electromagnetic steel plate. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor core for the permanent magnet motor constituted of a columnar or cylindrical shape and contains C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cu, Ni, Cr, Al and N, and Fe and indispensable impurity as the residue. (a) Al diffusion layer is formed along the radial direction with decreasing Al quantity from the most outer surface side to the center at the edge part, and when Al concentrations are measured at the edge surface in the plural positions, the ratio between the maximum value (Al<SB POS="POST">max</SB>) and the minimum value (Al<SB POS="POST">min</SB>), that is, (Al<SB POS="POST">max</SB>)/(Al<SB POS="POST">min</SB>) is 1.0-1.5. Alternatively, (b) Sn diffusion layer is formed along the radial direction with decreasing Sn quantity from the most outer surface side to the center at the edge part and when the Sn concentrations are measured at the edge surface in the plural positions, the ratio between the maximum value (Sn<SB POS="POST">max</SB>) and the minimum value (Sn<SB POS="POST">min</SB>), that is, (Sn<SB POS="POST">max</SB>)/(Sn<SB POS="POST">min</SB>) is 1.0-1.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
