The system has a microcontroller (MC) comprising a first serial peripheral interface (SPI) with a shift register to record first measurement values. A field programmable gate array (FPGA) comprises second and third serial peripheral interfaces (SPI) with respective shift registers to record second and third measurement values. One of the serial peripheral interfaces cyclically exchanges the measurement values between two field programmable gate array sub-circuits (FPGA1, FPGA2) so as to compare the measurement values with each other to determine a deviation in the measurement values.
