<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold positioning device that miniaturizes a mold miniaturizable in response to the size of a molded product by eliminating the necessity of unifying and standardizing the size of a mold substrate of the mold, for a plurality of types of replaceable molds in the molding machine, and which can easily and reliably perform the centering of each mold on a platen or a plate surface of an attachment plate. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning and fixing device 7 includes: a base member 10 disposed at a position corresponding to a lower end vicinity part of a plate surface 2a of a fixing plate 2; a mold receiving member 15 disposed above the base member and capable of mounting a mold substrate of a mold; an air cylinder 20 lifting a mold receiving member; and a supporting member 30 capable of being mounted between the base member and the mold receiving member and for adjusting the vertical position on the mold receiving member.
