<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which has excellent charge retention properties and charge stability, and high developability even when high-speed printing is performed for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the toner containing at least toner particles manufactured in an aqueous medium and an inorganic fine powder, the toner particles contain at last a binder resin, a colorant and a nonionic surfactant, and the binder resin contains a polyester resin manufactured by using a titanium compound as a catalyst. When the extraction amount of the nonionic surfactant to be extracted from the toner with methanol is represented by A (ppm), and a theoretical specific surface area obtained from the particle size distribution of the toner using a precision particle size distribution measurement device through a pore electrical resistivity method is represented by B (m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g), A/B is within a specific range, the nonionic surfactant includes a polyoxyalkylene structure, and the average addition molar number of oxyalkylene in the polyoxyalkylene structure is within a specific range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
