<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for an air-bag that has an excellent air impermeability by arranging a covering material on it and is also excellent in the other characteristics required for an air-bag, such as lightness, flexibility, and storage property, and is feasible for recycling without applying a special treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A base fabric for an air-bag is provided with a thermoplastic polyurethane resin arranged as a covering material on at least one surface of a polyamide-based fiber fabric. In the base fabric for an air-bag, the thermoplastic polyurethane resin has a melting point of 200°C or more and is applied in an amount of 10-50 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>(solid content). Further, when the base fabric for air-bag is melted at a temperature higher than the melting point of a simple polyamide-based fiber fabric by 10°C, the obtained molten mixture of a polyamide-based fiber fabric and a covering material has a melt flow index (MI) (defined by JIS K7210) of 20-200 g/10 min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
