<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method and a coating apparatus for coating even an uneven surface without unevenness and finishing a coating edge beautifully. <P>SOLUTION: The uneven part is coated by mixing compressed air and a liquid coating material and spraying the mixed liquid coating material from a spray gun head 11, and the coating edge is coated by stopping compressed air and spraying only the liquid coating material. Since a portion with unevenness such as a groove or a projection is coated by spraying the liquid coating material after the liquid coating material is mixed with compressed air and atomized into a mist state like air spray, a coating film of comparatively uniform thickness without unevenness can be obtained. Moreover, since the vicinity of a coating boundary is coated in the same way as airless spray to make the outline of a spray pattern clear, the coating edge is beautifully finished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
