The present invention relates to a watertight type manhole of a collecting well for riverbed filtration and an installation method thereof. According to the present invention, the watertight type manhole of a collecting well for riverbed filtration comprises a manhole frame and a manhole cover. The manhole frame (100) includes a perimeter wall (101); an embedded flange (110) integrated along the edge of one side end of the perimeter wall; and a contact flange (120) integrated along the edge of the other side end of the perimeter wall. The man hole cover (200) includes a cover unit (201) and a contact flange (220) integrated along the edge of the cover unit. The contact flange (120) of the manhole flame has a plurality of through hole (121) formed at predetermined intervals thereon and one or more insertion grooves (122) formed on the surface thereof. The contact flange (220) of the manhole cover (200) also has a plurality of through holes (221) formed at predetermined intervals thereon. Accordingly, when a bolt (300) is fastened to combine the contact flanges, whose through holes are set to correspond to each other, while a sealing member (500) is inserted into the insertion groove of the manhole frame, the contact flanges are sealed to be in a watertight state by the sealing member. The watertight type manhole of a collecting well for riverbed filtration of the present invention has the embedded flange (110) of the manhole frame embedded in a concrete structure (600), hence this part is also sealed in a watertight state when a river overflows. |
