<p>The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for primary synchronization signal (PSS) detection. The method may comprise: performing a central-symmetrical preprocess on a receive vector by exploiting a central symmetry of the primary synchronization signal; and performing, based on the central-symmetrical preprocess, a non-coherent detection on the receive vector using local primary synchronization signals so as to detect the primary synchronization signal. The computation complexity in PSS detection may be significantly reduced by performing preprocess to the receive vector based on the central symmetry of the primary synchronization signal, thereby considerably enhancing the speed and performance of PSS search and further improving the cell search efficiency.</p> |
