Cartridge writing instrument with lateral loading system

The instrument has tilting units for tilting an ink cartridge (9) in a retracted position to extract the cartridge through an oblong side opening of a fixed body (4). The tilting units are constituted by an inclined ramp (21) arranged inside the fixed body. The ramp is projected into an inner recess (7) of the fixed body and arranged opposite to the side opening of the fixed body. The ramp passes through a longitudinal slot of a cartridge-holder (8) during backward movement of the cartridge-holder. A pull rod (12) is mounted in a rear part of the fixed body.
