According to the present invention, a device to perform a backup operation for NoSQL metadata and restoring the NoSQL metadata comprises: a first cluster, a second cluster, and a cluster control unit. The first cluster stores and updates the NoSQL metadata. The first cluster generates and transmits snapshot data to perform the backup operation for the NoSQL metadata and incremental data in accordance to the update of the NoSQL metadata. The second cluster stores the snapshot data and the incremental data transmitted from the first cluster for backup. The cluster control unit stores the NoSQL metadata, the snapshot data, and the incremental data for the first cluster and the second cluster. |
