<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dry type ammonia decomposition processing which can well accelerate decomposition reaction of ammonia in a gas while suppressing deterioration as a fuel as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This method for dry type ammonia decomposition processing of decomposing ammonia includes adding oxygen to a gas containing ammonia together with a flammable compound including carbon atoms and bringing the mixed gas into contact with a catalyst to decompose the ammonia, wherein the catalyst employed is a transition metal carried on zeolite of ten- or twelve-membered ring structure or silica-alumina as a carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
