<p>The purpose is to provide an engine generator 1 which can reduce noise and performs cooling efficiently. In the engine generator 1 having an engine 2, a generator 3, a cover 4 and a muffler box 13, external openings 412 and 414 formed in the cover 4 for sucking outside air into the cover 4 and intake ducts 7 for introducing the air sucked via the external opening 412 and 414 into the inside of the cover 4. An opening 71 is formed in the upper side of each of the intake duct 7, and the intake duct 7 is arranged along the side surface of the muffler box 13 and below the upper surface of the muffler box 13 for a predetermined distance. A sponge 17 is provided between the upper side of the intake duct 7 and the side surface of the muffler box 13 so as to cover a part of the opening 71. An air passage 18 is formed above the intake duct 7 by the side surface of the muffler box 13 and the sponge 17.</p> |
