<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient permanent magnet rotating electric machine for reducing influence of iron loss, and to provide an electric vehicle using the permanent magnet rotating electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet rotating electric machine 1 comprises: a stator 2 in which a stator winding 5 is wound on a stator iron core; and a permanent magnet rotor 3 in which a plurality of permanent magnets 6 whose polarities are arranged alternately in a circumferential direction inside a rotor iron-core 7, are inserted. The permanent magnet rotor iron-core 7 comprises: a magnetic pole piece 72; an auxiliary magnetic pole 71; and a stator yoke 74. The permanent magnet rotor iron-core 7 further comprises a recess part 76 provided in an air gap surface of the magnetic pole piece 72 in the rotor iron core 7 of the permanent magnet and smoothly inclined from the center of the magnetic pole to the end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
