<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge and discharge device capable of more effectively utilizing a plurality of secondary cells with variations in performance, and to provide a power storage system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary cell charge and discharge device 1 includes: a plurality of secondary cells B1-B8; a DC power supply 6 which outputs voltage for charging the secondary cells; a power storage section 2 which is constructed by connecting a plurality of capacitors C1-C4 in series to each other and connected with an external conversion device; and a connection device 3 for charging or discharging the secondary cells. The connection device 3 is charged by connecting, with the DC power supply 6, a plurality of the secondary cells B1-B8 connected in parallel to each other. In addition, the connection device 3 is discharged by connecting a secondary cell selected from a plurality of the secondary cells B1-B8 to a capacitor selected from a plurality of the capacitors C1-C4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
