<p>The present invention provides a display device capable of displaying a two-dimensional image for an observer to feel high perceptual depth or cubit effect. The display device comprises: a light transmitting layer having an observed surface and a convex surface facing each other; and a display area where a plurality of display elements displaying toward the observed surface is arranged along the convex surface. A refractive index of the light transmitting layer is higher than a refractive index of the atmosphere. In the display device, the observed surface is a plane which crosses the convex surface at three points, or, a distance between a foot N of a perpendicular line drawn from 1 point M on the convex surface on the plane and an intersection point P of the perpendicular line and the observed surface is the largest when the 1 point M is located at the outermost part.</p> |
