The present invention relates to a rotating floodgate discharging water through the lower end, which is capable of being smoothly opened and closed by rotation to control water levels and vertically moving to allow fishes and aquatic organisms to freely move. The rotating floodgate comprises a flood gate which has a pair of rotary shafts symmetrically provided on both ends of the lower end thereof and is installed between a pair of supporting structures provided on both sides of a river to be able to rotate and vertically move; and a pair of rotatory units which are provided on the left and right ends of the flood gate to rotate and vertically move the flood gate. The rotatory unit includes a connection link installed on the rotary shaft; a rotary cylinder connected to the connection link to rotate the rotary shaft; a vertically-moving cylinder connected to the rotary shaft to vertically move the rotary shaft; and a vertical movement guide member which guides the vertical movement of the rotary shaft and has a guide slot formed thereon, wherein the guide slot has the rotary shaft inserted therein to guide the vertical movement of the rotary shaft. |
