PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composite oxide catalyst, by which an aimed product can be produced at a high yield.SOLUTION: The method for producing the composite oxide catalyst having a composition shown by FeSbADEGO(SiO)(wherein A is at least one element selected from a group including Ni, Cu, Al, Mn, Pb, Sn, Cr, Co, Mg, Ca, Sr, Zn, Ba, Nb, Ag, Zr, Ga, In, Tl, Ti and Bi; D is at least one element selected from a group including V, Mo and W; E is at least one element selected from the group including P, As, B, Ge and Te; G is at least one element selected from the group including Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs; in the case of Fe=10, i=3 to 100, a=0.1 to 20, d=0 to 15, e=0 to 20, g=0 to 3, x is the number of oxygen atoms of the metal oxide produced by bonding these components to one another and y=10 to 200) comprises the steps of: mixing Fe, Sb and SiO, at the least, to prepare mixed slurry; heat-treating the mixed slurry; and mixing an A element in the heat-treated mixture. The ratio of the amount of the A element which is contained in the mixed slurry before heat-treatment, to the total amount of the A element to be used for producing the composite oxide catalyst is ≤50 mol%. |
