<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor preventing a leakage of gear noise to attain silence in a power transmission structure including a gear as a transmission element. <P>SOLUTION: The outer surface of a mesh part 66 between a driving gear 51 and a driven gear 52 maximum in driving rotation speed is covered with a first shielding space 67. The first shielding space 67 is formed of: a lower wall 70 of a transmission chamber 59; a sound insulating wall 71 and a gear cover 72; and a sound insulating wall 73 and a vertical wall 74. The former sound insulating wall 71 includes a disk-like wall formed projecting on the upper face of the driving gear 51. The gear cover 72 covers the upper face of the driven gear 52 and covers the upper face of the mesh part 66 in multiple layers in cooperation with the sound insulating wall 71. The latter sound insulating wall 73 comprises a rib-like wall projected from the lower wall 70, and surrounds the peripheral surface of the driving gear 51 and the peripheral surface of the driven gear 52 facing the mesh part 66.
