<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device of a car interior capable of sequentially controlling illumination of light sources of a plurality of lamps provided in a car interior only by using one output port of an electronic control unit. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device of a car interior, provided with a plurality of light sources, includes a first light source 3 which is connected to one output port of an electronic control unit 2 provided to the car, and is controlled by the output port for illumination, and one or two or more second light sources 4 which contain an optical sensor 41 for detecting illumination of the first light source, a control circuit 42, and a light emitting element 43, for controlling illumination of the light emitting element based on the detection signal of the optical sensor. Further, one or two or more third light sources may be provided for detecting illumination of the second light source, and then based on its detection signal, for controlling illumination of the own light emitting element.
