The poultry balance has a contact area (21), which is designed such that poultry animal stands on it. A force sensor (30) is coupled with the contact area. The force sensor detects the weight of the poultry animal standing on the contact area. Another sensor is provided for detecting another measured variable as the weight of one or more poultry animals, which stand on the contact area. An independent claim is included for poultry housing equipment.
