<p>The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of electrolyte for an electric double layer capacitor and to the electric double layer capacitor using electrolyte manufactured by the manufacturing method. The manufacturing method of electrolyte for the electric double layer capacitor includes the following steps of: reacting at least one type of substance which is selected from trimethylamine, bromoethane, and iodoethane with a first solvent at a mole ratio of 1:0.9-1.3, reacting at least one type of substance which is selected from trimethylamine, bromopropane, and iodopropane with the first solvent at the mole ratio of 1:0.9-1.3, or reacting at least one type of substance which is selected from dimethylethylamine, dibromoethane, and iodoethane with the first solvent at the mole ratio of 1:0.9-1.3; filtering and washing white salt which is generated by the reaction; drying the washed salt; reacting the dried salt and tetrafluoroborate acid with a second solvent by mixing the dried salt and the tetrafluoroborate acid with the second solvent; removing the second solvent from the reacted product and keeping a refrigeration at a temperature lower than a room temperature; and filtering the refrigerated product and washing the filtered product after recrystalizing by settling down the refrigerated product in a third solvent. The present invention is able to generate a high output by having a fast speed to permeate into an activated carbon which is an electrode active material of the electric double layer capacitor, and to improve an energy storage capacity by absorbing more anions into active carbon pores in the same area.</p> |
