Provided are a method and an apparatus for changing a cell in a heterogeneous network wireless communications system. The method comprises the followings: a terminal reports information related to a measured wireless signal strength to a first base station for a macro cell; the terminal receives a reestablishing message to selectively reestablish a data radio bearer (DRB) of a second small cell from the first base station; and the terminal reestablishes, based on the reestablishing message, a PDCP layer or an RLC layer only for a DRB intended to change to the second small cell among DRBs assigned to the terminal.
