<p>The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract from trifolium repens L as an effective ingredient for preventing and alleviating obesity-related or metabolic syndrome-related diseases, and, more specifically, to a composition comprising an extract from trifolium repens L as an effective ingredient for preventing and alleviating obesity-related or metabolic syndrome-related diseases, wherein the extract has activities inhibiting the differentiation of adipocytes progenitor cells to adipocytes, fat accumulation, and the expression of PPARγwhich is a transcription factor centrally involved in the differentiation of the adipocytes. According to the present invention, the extract from the trifolium repens L inhibits the differentiation of the adipocytes and thereby serves as a food composition with an anti-obesity function or anti-metabolic syndrome function for overweight or obese people, thereby contributing national health.</p> |
