摘要 A method for making a carbon nanotube film is provided. First, a carbon nanotube array is formed on a grown substrate. The carbon nanotube array is pressed with a first substrate using a first pressing force to form a carbon nanotube film precursor. Then the first substrate and the grown substrate are separated, and the carbon nanotube film precursor is transferred onto the first substrate. After that, the carbon nanotube film precursor is pressed using a second substrate with a second pressing force. Lastly, the first substrate and the second substrate is separated, with part of the carbon nanotube precursor transferred to the second substrate to form the carbon nanotube film.

A method for making a carbon nanotube film comprising the following steps: fabricating a carbon nanotube array on a grown substrate, wherein the carbon nanotube array comprises a plurality of carbon nanotubes substantially perpendicular with the grown substrate; pressing the carbon nanotube array with a first substrate by applying a first pressing force to cause the plurality of carbon nanotubes in the carbon nanotube array being compressed onto the grown substrate and overlapped with each other to form a carbon nanotube film precursor; separating the first substrate and the grown substrate comprising the carbon nanotube film precursor, and transferring the carbon nanotube film precursor onto the first substrate; pressing the carbon nanotube film precursor on the first substrate by applying a second substrate with a second pressing force; and separating the first substrate and the second substrate, and transferring a part of the carbon nanotube film precursor to the second substrate to form a carbon nanotube film.
