There are provided an aromatic polyamide porous film, wherein the total number of branch points of pores in the area of 3 cubic micrometers obtained by three-dimensional structural analysis is 2,000 to 20,000, which ensures high rate characteristics and is also capable of suppressing deterioration of cycle characteristics and storage characteristics as well as abnormal heat generation, when used as a separator for battery, and also has excellent heat resistance; and a separator for battery and a battery, each including the aromatic polyamide porous film. |
