A DC-DC converter of a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus, which boosts a DC voltage input through an input terminal using a plurality of transistors and capacitors to generate a driving voltage for the LCD apparatus and outputs the driving voltage through an output terminal, the DC-DC converter comprising:
a first capacitor connected between a first node and a second node; a second capacitor connected between a third node and a fourth node; a first external diode connected between the input terminal and the first node; a second external diode connected between the first node and the output terminal; a first transistor connected between the input terminal and the first node; a second transistor connected between a base voltage source and the second node; a third transistor connected between the input terminal and the second node; a fourth transistor connected between the first node and the third node; and a fifth transistor connected between the base voltage source and the fourth node, wherein the DC voltage is a voltage of 6V. |
