METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING RESOURCE IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to manage resources in a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus to permit or restrict the usage of a part or all of the resources of the components in a wireless communications system. According to the present invention, the method to manage radio resources by a radio connection point comprises the following steps of: receiving a measurement report from a terminal; determining another radio connection point to cooperatively serve a terminal being served by the radio connection point based on a handover restriction list (HRL) in accordance to the measurement report; and transmitting a request message to request to serve the terminal to the determined radio connection point.
