The present invention relates to a method for performing a handover of a terminal in a wireless communications system. A terminal periodically transmits, to a first node, a measurement report message including a measured value for each of the first node and at least one peripheral node which uses a frequency band different from a first frequency band while receiving communications services from the first node using the first frequency band and exchanges information required for a handover to a second node having the greatest measured value among the peripheral nodes with the second node in advance when receiving a handover preparation request message from the first node.
