The present invention relates to an air heater device for pulverized coal manufacturing facility and a temperature controlling method using the same, reducing the use of firing gas by maintaining, in maximum, the activity ratio of the exhaust gas provided from a hot stove when producing hot air for coal pulverization. According to an embodiment of the present invention specification, the air heater device is provided for drying the coal in a facility which produces pulverized coal by drying and pulverizing coal. The air heater device comprises: an air heater for providing hot air supplied to a coal pulverizing machine; an exhaust gas supplying unit for supplying exhaust gas, generated by the hot stove of a blast furnace, to the air heater; an atmosphere air supplying unit for supplying atmosphere air to the air heater; a firing gas supplying unit for supplying firing gas, being fired in the air heater, to the air heater; a control unit for controlling the supplying flux of the firing gas, atmosphere air, and exhaust gas which are supplied for controlling the temperature and flux of the hot air according to the exhaust gas from the coal pulverizing machine and the coal quantity supplied to the coal pulverizing machine. The control unit controls the supplying flux of the firing gas by maintaining the supplying flux of the exhaust gas in maximum.
