receiving, by a device provided at a network edge, a radio frequency signal from a user equipment,
the device including a first module, implemented at least partially in hardware, and a second module, implemented at least partially in hardware, the first module being different than the second module; converting, by the device, the radio frequency signal into an electrical signal; transmitting, by the device and to a network controller, channel information; receiving, by the device and from the network controller and based on the transmitted channel information, at least two of:
control information,schedule information, orcongestion management information; performing, by the first module, baseband signal processing on the electrical signal, based on the at least two of the control information, the schedule information, or the congestion management information, to create a first modified signal; providing, by the device, the first modified signal to the network controller; creating, by the second module and using the first modified signal, a second modified signal; and providing, by the device, the second modified signal to another device,
the other device being different than the user equipment and being different than the network controller. |
