<p>The present invention relates to a pocketless ball valve suitable for the transfer pipes of various organic matters such as food. Especially, the present invention relates to a pocketless ball valve comprising: a body (10); and a pair of seat rings (20) separately formed between the body (10) and a ball (30) mounted in the body (10) and able to be actuated, wherein each of the seat rings (20) has an inner diameter with the identical dimension of the outer diameter of the ball (30) within a tolerance range of -0.01 mm, and has a spherical surface covering and adhering to 90-99% of the spherical area of the ball (30). Therefore, the body (10) of the ball valve does not have a pocket therein, thereby fundamentally preventing organic matters such as food remaining in the ball valve from decaying, and preventing a fluid from being stuck, mixed, and contaminated. In addition, according to the present invention, the pressure of the fluid is not transmitted to an O-ring (51) or a grand packing (65) formed on the stem (50) of the ball valve, thereby using the ball valve, which transfers the organic matters such as food, hygienically for a long time, preventing the remaining water from being stuck, mixed, and contaminated, and preventing the fluid from being leaked to the outside.</p> |
