A sulfone-based compound according to the present invention is represented by chemical formula 1. The sulfone-based compound is a compound including a hydrocarbon core and an ether sulfone unit. The properties of the sulfone-based compound such as hardness, flexibility, solubility and chemical resistance can be improved or given by modifying the hydrocarbon core. In chemical formula 1, R_1 and R_2 are sulfonyl (-SO_3H) groups or substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10 hydrocarbon groups respectively and independently, X is a halogen atom, Z is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C50 hydrocarbon group, a and b are integers of 0 to 4 respectively and independently, m is an integer of 1 or greater and n is an integer of 2 to 10. |
