PURPOSE: A variable capacity swash plate type compressor is provided to implement the reduction of suction pulsation in the middle of the flow of refrigerant from a suction port to a suction chamber, thereby reducing noise and vibration which are caused by excessive suction pulsation. CONSTITUTION: A variable capacity swash plate type compressor includes a cylinder block on which multiple cylinder bores are formed in all directions; a front side housing with which the front side of the cylinder block is combined; a rear side housing (300) which is combined with the front side of the cylinder block; and a suction port (370) which is connected to a suction chamber (310) of the rear side housing by a suction flow path (350). A suction muffler unit (600), which is formed to have an expanded space compared to the suction flow path, is additionally included. |
