A foaming agent for the production of foam concrete contains, wt %: sodium salt of alkylsulphates of the primary higher fatty alcohols of the Cfraction 10.0-25.0, coccoamidopropylhydroxysultone 2.0-4.5, water - the remaining part. The foaming agent for the production of foam concrete contains, wt %: a mixture of sodium salt of alkylsulphates of the primary higher fatty alcohols of the Cfraction with sodium salt of alkylsulphates of the primary higher fatty alcohols of the Cfraction, with the content in the mixture of the fraction C40-99%, 10.0-25.0, coccoamidopropylhydroxysultone 2.0-4.5, water - the remaining part.
