The present invention relates to a coating method capable of further safely protecting a sugar craftwork by effects of moistureproofing, heatproofing and impact relief, wherein sugar craftwork is in the limelight as a craft material which has excellent safety, moldability, preservability, convenience, etc. More specifically, the sugar craftwork made by using sugar, glucose, sugar alcohol, starch, and water, etc. generally becomes melty by external humidity or external temperature when stored at room temperature after completion of the sugar craftwork. In addition, the sugar craftwork has the problem of being easily broken by being fragile to impact. The present invention is aimed at coating the sugar craftwork with shellac to solve the problem. The present invention relates to the coating method comprising the steps of: mixing 40-60% of shellac and 40-60% of anhydrous ethanol on the basis of weight ratio to obtain a shellac coating agent; thinly coating the shellac coating agent on the surface of the sugar craftwork to be coated by using a brush or a spray, followed by quickly drying the sugar craftwork by operating a fan in a dryer at 10-40°C for 1-60 minutes; and repeating the coating and drying step one to five times to complete a shellac coating process.
|
