<p>The present invention relates to an access control system and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is the access control system which includes a gateway, a reader which recognizes an individual identification unit and controls the opening and closing of the gateway, a human sensor which senses persons passing through the gateway and counts the persons, and an integrated management server which controls the reader. The reader obtains the number of the persons from the human sensor and differently sets a security level of the gateway according to a control signal of the integrated management server.</p> |
