Disclosed is a terminal device. The terminal device includes: a display unit; a storage unit which stores local profile information of other users; a communication unit which transmits at least one part of the local profile information to a server and receives sharing profile information of other users from the server based on a relation between a user and other users; and a control unit which controls the display unit to display an UI screen which includes the local profile information of other users and at least one part of the sharing profile information of other users which is different from the local profile information of other user. The sharing profile information of other users is stored in the terminal device of a user as local profile information. The sharing profile information is selectively received from the server based on the relation between the user and other users depending on whether user information is stored in the terminal device of other users as local profile information or not.
