PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for encoding/decoding motion vector considering accuracy of differential motion vector are provided to encode, and decode the motion vector by adaptively deciding the accuracy of the motion vector in a temporary size area unit. CONSTITUTION: An encoding method of an image processing method comprises steps of: determining motion vector resolution in each region or each motion vector(S1720); and performing inter-prediction encoding by using the motion vector according to the motion vector resolution determined in each region or each motion vector(S1730). Therefore, the image processing method can efficiently encode the images by adaptively changing the motion vector resolution in predetermined region units of the images and performing the inter-prediction encoding for the images. |
