PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flexible joint seal from falling from an engagement recess even when an engagement width with respect to a flexible joint cannot be ensured sufficiently.SOLUTION: A rise part 4 projecting outward in a radial direction is disposed on an engagement core part 2a of a reinforcing ring 2 with at least the outer periphery thereof covered with an elastic body 3. An outer diameter &phgr;A of the rise part 4 is smaller than an inner diameter &phgr;B of the engagement recess 5a. The rise part 4 is formed by bending a part of the engagement core part 2a outward in the radial direction. |
