PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection system capable of appropriately performing processing based on a detection result in a case where normal object detection is inconvenient just like a case where a vehicle is crowded or a part of users is protruded to the lane side of a home door.SOLUTION: An object detection system includes a detection part for detecting the presence/absence of an object in a detection region by scanning a predetermined detection region with light, and a predetermined region is set as a specific detection region separately from the detection region. The detection part is configured to select whether to use the detection result of an object in the specific detection region. |
