PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, system, and method for facilitating additive topology optimized manufacturing.SOLUTION: A computing device 100 includes a processor 108 and is operated on a plurality of constraints associated with a component and integrates the constraints with a design optimization methodology across a plurality of variables including additive manufacturing constraints to generate a specification for the component. The component may be fabricated in accordance with the specification. A system 100 includes a memory 102. The memory 102 may store data 104. At least a portion of a structure is shown as being associated with a first program 106a and a second program 106b. An I/O device 110 may be configured to provide an interface to allow a user to interact with the system 100 in the generation of a specification. The specification is transferred to an AM machine 120, and the AM machine performs AM techniques according to the specification in order to create a final item. |
