The component may be fabricated in accordance with the specification. A system 100 includes a memory 102. The memory 102 may store data 104. At least a portion of a structure is shown as being associated with a first program 106a and a second program 106b. An I/O device 110 may be configured to provide an interface to allow a user to interact with the system 100 in the generation of a specification. The specification is transferred to an AM machine 120, and the AM machine performs AM techniques according to the specification in order to create a final item.
