<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which can effectively utilize a skeleton by utilizing a joist as an aseismic element.SOLUTION: This building comprises: columns 1;1 ... which are positioned at corners of a square; girders 2;2 ...which are arranged so as to connect the adjacent columns, and positioned at four sides of the square; and joists 3;3 ...which are arranged so as to connect a pair of the opposing girders 2, 2. One end 5 of a diagonal material (brace 4) is connected to the joist 3 which is arranged at one stair out of upper and lower stairs, and the other end 6 of the diagonal material is connected to the joist 3 which is arranged at the other stair out of the upper and lower stairs.</p> |
